Pest of the Month - Citrus Leaf Miner

Have you noticed your citrus tree leaves curling and discoloring?

If you’ve ruled out water as a culprit, too much or too little, frost, etc. you might have a more recent disorder, citrus leaf miner.  This is caused by tiny nocturnal moths that tunnel in new leaf flush. Not to be confused with the more serious Asian citrus psyllid, which threatens to harm California’s orange industry, citrus leaf miner causes no serious harm to the fruit.  For more information, click here.
