Program: This lecture introduces you to fundamental and essential concepts / techniques, and deepens your knowledge of aesthetic Pruning of trees and shrubs. Concepts demystifies and inspires pruners of all levels. Learn to find and enhance tree's essence, create and maintain a "focal point" tree, and the differences between functional pruning (e.g., for fruit production) and aesthetic. During the break and at the end of well formatted pre-recorded lecture, join us with live discussion and Q & A with
Chris Ingram.

Speakers: Chris Ingram is a Certified Aesthetic Pruner and a Certified Arborist with 30+ years of experience. He teaches aesthetic pruning of small trees and shrubs up to 15 feet tall in the Japanese style around
the Bay Area. Groups he teaches includes Aesthetic Pruning Classes, and the Arborist Certification Course at Merritt College in Oakland. Chris, Mr. Prune, provides a full range of arboriculture services with special emphasis on aesthetic and functional pruning. He loves old trees and specializes in their rehabilitation.
