The Program: Autumn is the ideal time to generate plants for your perennial garden. This practical workshop, led by horticulturist Wendy Johnson, will address the art and science of seasonal propagation for organic gardeners; including sexual and asexual production, plant division and spring bulb culture. Participants will bring home "off-spring" from IVOF&G perennials. Come with your garden gloves and sharp pruning shears ready to operate!
The Speakers: Wendy Johnson was an adjunct instructor in College of Marin's Sustainable Agriculture program. She is one of the founders of College of Marin’s Indian Valley Organic Farm & Garden and the Green Gulch Farm Zen Center.
Social and Sign-in: 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Workshop: 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon
Cost: $20.00 (includes a $10.00 materials fee)
