Description and Cultural Plant Tips

This is one of the most beautiful of the Echeveria hybrids.  It naturally grows at higher altitudes on rocky ledges that drain quickly.  Plant in super well-draining soil and top dress with pebble mulch to keep leaves from sitting in water.  This plant does produce pups (little offset plants) and you will have a group of them before you know it.  It is a little frost tender but seems to do fine during normal bay area winters.

Master Gardener Comments

I use a lot of these plants in various settings wherever I want a mauvey pink accent.  A group planting of these really stand out.  May have to treat for snails.
