Marin County Fair
Saturday June 30 - Wednesday July 4, 2018
Our community outreach programs extend throughout Marin County, including the Help Desk in Novato, several demonstration gardens, community and school gardens, and information tables at Farmers’ Markets countywide. We offer a wide array of topics with our Public Seminars, and our Garden Walks partnership with MMWD and NMWD provides homeowners information and advice on improving irrigation practices to help conserve precious water resources. Thinking about becoming a Master Gardener? Now is a great time to check us out.
Marin Master Gardener docents will be available at the Fair from 11 am to 7 pm to answer questions about the UC Master Gardener Program. We’ll be showcasing our many projects and events, providing hands-on pruning demonstrations and tips for growing edibles, and presenting gardening talks during the day - see a list of presentation topics and times here.
The Mission of the University of California Cooperative Extension Marin Master Gardener program is to educate and advise local residents about sustainable gardening practices through community outreach and education throughout Marin County. See you at the Fair!
