Marin County Fair
Marin Master Gardeners at the Marin County Fair
Marin gardeners are over the moon about plants from the five regions of the world that share our Mediterranean climate. Visitors to this year’s UC Marin Master Gardener exhibit can expect an around-the-world experience, with horticultural stops in key sections of California, South America, Australia, South Africa, and Europe. Like Marin County, these regions experience mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. This year's tent showcases plants from these regions, all of which are water-wise, pollinator-friendly, deer-resistant, and low maintenance.
In addition, visitors will get to see a moon garden first-hand, glowing lunar-white to shine light on plants that shimmer in the moonlight. Like their cousins from around the world, these plants are easy, eco-friendly additions to any Marin garden.
There will be a Speakers Corner for daily gardening talks. Please check back mid-June for a list of topics and times.
There’s lots of fun in store at the UC Marin Master Garden tent. Our tent is located across from the Pig Races. See you at the fair!
