    This is a native California creeping fern that grows naturally in shaded canyons, north sides of slopes & along streambeds. It is a delicate epiphytic fern is good for naturalized areas under oaks & other shaded areas.

    Plant in a loamy soil enhanced with compost. This plant needs wet feet in winter & early spring & will go dormant as soil dries out in summer.

    Can be browsed by deer but will survive.
