This easy-care Australian plant looks like a grass, but it's actually a super-tough perennial. Lomandra 'Platinum Beauty' has green and white striped variegated foliage that comes to life when placed near deep green, burgundy, or other dark-hued plants. And the best part? It works in sun or part-shade -- a helpful attribute for challenging areas that go in and out of shade.
