Event Details

The Program: This presentation covers basic gardening requirements for citrus trees planted in the ground for over 3 years; and includes long-term pruning, care, and integrated pest management techniques. This class also covers more in-depth information regarding care for container and espaliered trees. Citrus varieties include: Citron, Grapefruit. Kumquat, Limequat, Orangequat, Lemon, Lime, Mandarins, Orange (Blood Orange, Sour Orange, Sweet Orange), and Pummelo.

The Speaker: Joe Jennings is a Marin Master Gardener who grows vegetables year- round in his home garden. He graduated from Whitman College and earned an MBA from the University of Washington.
